SPARK is a student-led, non-profit organization located in Maryland that fosters curiosity and passion among future science professionals through interactive workshops, newsletters, research opportunities, and note-trading systems. SPARK aims to empower students with the knowledge, resources, and connections needed to be successful in the evolving world of science. SPARK currently focuses on four branches of science: biology, physics, mathematics, and environmental science.
Our Services
WORKSHOPS: Every three to four months, each branch aims to create an immersive experience for each branch, whether it be a workshop or awareness event.
NEWSLETTER: A monthly newsletter would include the latest research opportunities, research featuring students and members of SPARK, exciting stories, and relevant science articles for each branch.
NOTE-TRADING SYSTEM/EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES: Members of SPARK can post science-related notes to earn public recognition and possibly monetary prizes.

SPARK's mission is to create a close-knit community of students dedicated to learning. We want to offer services for specific fields while also focusing on how all STEM disciplines are interconnected to create today's unique realm of science. Members of SPARK will get the chance to conduct research, talk to professionals, get exposed to scientific publications, share ideas and notes with their peers, and more. If it's science, we do it.
